June 12, 1940: Traded by the Brooklyn Dodgers with Carl Doyle, Ernie Koy, Sam Nahem and $125,000 to the St. Louis Cardinals for Curt Davis and Joe Medwick.

September 9, 1941: Purchased by the Cincinnati Reds from the St. Louis Cardinals.

December 11, 1947: Traded by the Cincinnati Reds to the Philadelphia Phillies for Tommy Hughes.

April 29, 1949: Purchased by the New York Giants from the Philadelphia Phillies.

October 11, 1950: Traded by the New York Giants with Wes Bailey (minors), Bill Ayers, Joe Lafata and $125,000 to Oakland (PCL) for Al Gettel, Ray Noble and Artie Wilson.

June 28, 1951: Purchased by the Chicago White Sox from Oakland (PCL).

August 27, 1951: Released by the Chicago White Sox.
