January 10, 1918: Traded by the Boston Red Sox with a player to be named later and Hick Cady to the Philadelphia Athletics for Stuffy McInnis. The Boston Red Sox sent Tilly Walker (February 20, 1918) to the Philadelphia Athletics to complete the trade.

March 1, 1919: Traded by the Philadelphia Athletics with Charlie Jamieson and Elmer Myers to the Cleveland Indians for Braggo Roth.
