December 15, 1923: Traded by the Boston Braves with Ray Powell to the Philadelphia Phillies for Cotton Tierney. Ray Powell refused to report to his new team. The Boston Braves sent cash (December 15, 1923) to the Philadelphia Phillies to complete the trade.

May 16, 1925: Selected off waivers by the Brooklyn Robins from the Philadelphia Phillies.

January 26, 1932: Purchased by the St. Louis Cardinals from the Cincinnati Reds.

April 28, 1932: Released by the St. Louis Cardinals.

May 25, 1932: Signed as a Free Agent with the Boston Braves.

May 10, 1933: Released by the Boston Braves.
