October 18, 1971: Traded by the New York Mets with Jim Bibby, Charlie Hudson and Art Shamsky to the St. Louis Cardinals for Jim Beauchamp, Chip Coulter, Harry Parker and Chuck Taylor.

November 18, 1974: Traded by the St. Louis Cardinals with Alan Foster and Sonny Siebert to the San Diego Padres for Ed Brinkman. The San Diego Padres sent Danny Breeden (December 10, 1974) to the St. Louis Cardinals to complete the trade.

March 23, 1977: Selected off waivers by the Milwaukee Brewers from the San Diego Padres.
