September 8, 1955: Traded by the Detroit Tigers to the St. Louis Cardinals for Bobby Tiefenauer.

May 11, 1956: Traded by the St. Louis Cardinals with Harvey Haddix and Stu Miller to the Philadelphia Phillies for Murry Dickson and Herm Wehmeier.

October 15, 1956: Purchased by the Kansas City Athletics from the Philadelphia Phillies.

April 1, 1957: Returned to the Philadelphia Phillies by the Kansas City Athletics following previous purchase. (Date given is approximate. Exact date is uncertain.)
