November 30, 1961: Traded by the San Francisco Giants with a player to be named later, Eddie Fisher and Dom Zanni to the Chicago White Sox for a player to be named later, Don Larsen and Billy Pierce. The San Francisco Giants sent Verle Tiefenthaler (August 17, 1962) to the Chicago White Sox to complete the trade.

June 25, 1962: Traded by the Chicago White Sox to the Detroit Tigers for Charlie Maxwell.
