March 30, 1982: Traded by the Chicago White Sox with Bert Geiger (minors) to the Los Angeles Dodgers for Rudy Law.

September 9, 1985: Sent by the Los Angeles Dodgers to the Pittsburgh Pirates to complete an earlier deal made on August 31, 1985. The Los Angeles Dodgers sent players to be named later to the Pittsburgh Pirates for players to be named later and Bill Madlock. The Los Angeles Dodgers sent R.J. Reynolds (September 3, 1985), Cecil Espy (September 9, 1985) and Sid Bream (September 9, 1985) to the Pittsburgh Pirates to complete the trade.
