June 16, 1965: Traded by the New York Yankees to the Milwaukee Braves for Bobby Tiefenauer.

October 13, 1966: Traded by the Atlanta Braves with Lee Bales and Dan Schneider to the Houston Astros for Ed Pacheco (minors), John Hoffman and Gene Ratliff.

October 14, 1968: Drafted by the San Diego Padres from the Houston Astros as the 33rd pick in the 1968 expansion draft.

December 1, 1970: Traded by the San Diego Padres with Pat Dobson to the Baltimore Orioles for Fred Beene, Enzo Hernandez, Tom Phoebus and Al Severinsen. Fred Beene returned to original team on May 16, 1971.

May 29, 1972: Traded by the Baltimore Orioles to the California Angels for Frank Estrada.
