The Philadelphia Phillies sent a player to be named later to the California Angels for a player to be named later and Billy Grabarkewitz. The Philadelphia Phillies sent Denny Doyle (December 6, 1973) to the California Angels to complete the trade. The California Angels sent Aurelio Monteagudo (December 6, 1973) and Chris Coletta (December 6, 1973) to the Philadelphia Phillies to complete the trade.

June 14, 1975: Traded by the California Angels to the Boston Red Sox for cash. The Boston Red Sox sent Chuck Ross (minors) (March 5, 1976) to the California Angels to complete the trade.
