November 11, 1896: Traded by the Baltimore Orioles with Steve Brodie to the Pittsburgh Pirates for Elmer Horton, Tom O'Brien, Jake Stenzel and Harry Truby.

November 11, 1897: Traded by the New York Giants with Ducky Holmes and $3,500 to the St. Louis Browns for Mike Grady and Fred Hartman.
