December 4, 1936: Traded by San Diego (PCL) to the Boston Bees for Tiny Chaplin, Tommy Thompson and cash.

February 4, 1939: Sent by the Boston Bees to the New York Yankees to complete an earlier deal made on August 10, 1938. The Boston Bees sent players to be named later, Gil English, Johnny Riddle and cash to the New York Yankees for Eddie Miller.

August 5, 1939: Traded by the New York Yankees to the Cincinnati Reds for players to be named later and $40,000. The Cincinnati Reds sent Frenchy Bordagaray (January 27, 1940) and Nino Bongiovanni (January 27, 1940) to the New York Yankees to complete the trade.
