December 8, 1899: Traded by the Pittsburgh Pirates with Paddy Fox, Art Madison, John O'Brien and $25,000 to the Louisville Colonels for Fred Clarke, Bert Cunningham, Mike Kelley, Tacks Latimer, Tommy Leach, Tom Messitt, Deacon Phillippe, Claude Ritchey, Rube Waddell, Jack Wadsworth, Honus Wagner and Chief Zimmer.

March 9, 1900: Assigned to the Pittsburgh Pirates by the Louisville Colonels.

Before 1903 Season: Jumped from the Pittsburgh Pirates to the New York Highlanders.

September 11, 1909: Selected off waivers by the Boston Red Sox from the New York Highlanders.
