December 3, 1974: Traded by the Baltimore Orioles with Rob Andrews to the Houston Astros for Lee May and Jay Schlueter.

December 8, 1980: Traded by the Houston Astros to the San Francisco Giants for Chris Bourjos and Bob Knepper.

March 4, 1982: Traded by the San Francisco Giants with cash to the Detroit Tigers for Champ Summers.

November 7, 1983: Granted Free Agency.

February 20, 1984: Signed as a Free Agent with the Houston Astros.

July 10, 1985: Traded by the Houston Astros to the Los Angeles Dodgers for a player to be named later and Rafael Montalvo. The Los Angeles Dodgers sent German Rivera (July 15, 1985) to the Houston Astros to complete the trade.
