Before 1955 Season: Signed by the Pittsburgh Pirates as an amateur free agent.

December 2, 1957: Drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals from the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 1957 minor league draft.

January 26, 1961: Sent by the St. Louis Cardinals to Toronto (International) to complete an earlier deal made on October 11, 1960. The St. Louis Cardinals sent a player to be named later, Cal Browning, Leon Wagner and cash to Toronto (International) for Al Cicotte.

November 8, 1961: Obtained by the Milwaukee Braves from Toronto (International) as part of a minor league working agreement.

November 26, 1962: Drafted by the Houston Colt .45's from the Milwaukee Braves in the 1962 rule 5 draft.

April 2, 1963: Purchased by the Cleveland Indians from the Houston Colt .45's.

May 27, 1963: Purchased by the Chicago Cubs from the Cleveland Indians.

September 11, 1965: Released by the Chicago Cubs.
