December 1, 1961: Traded by the Detroit Tigers with Manny Montejo to the Houston Colt .45's for Sam Jones.

December 31, 1966: Traded by the Houston Astros with Dave Nicholson to the Atlanta Braves for a player to be named later, Eddie Mathews and Arnold Umbach. The Atlanta Braves sent Sandy Alomar (February 25, 1967) to the Houston Astros to complete the trade.
