June 9, 1954: Traded by the Brooklyn Dodgers to the Detroit Tigers for Johnny Bucha, Chuck Kress, Ernie Nevel and cash.

December 5, 1956: Traded by the Detroit Tigers with Ned Garver, Gene Host, Virgil Trucks and $20,000 to the Kansas City Athletics for Jack Crimian, Jim Finigan, Bill Harrington and Eddie Robinson.

February 19, 1957: Traded by the Kansas City Athletics with players to be named later, Art Ditmar, Jack McMahan and Bobby Shantz to the New York Yankees for players to be named later, Rip Coleman, Milt Graff, Billy Hunter, Mickey McDermott, Tom Morgan and Irv Noren. The New York Yankees sent Jack Urban (April 5, 1957) to the Kansas City Athletics to complete the trade. The Kansas City Athletics sent Curt Roberts (April 4, 1957) and Clete Boyer (June 4, 1957) to the New York Yankees to complete the trade.
