September 5, 1980: Sent by the Montreal Expos to the San Diego Padres to complete an earlier deal made on August 11, 1980. The Montreal Expos sent a player to be named later to the San Diego Padres for a player to be named later, John D'Acquisto and cash. The Montreal Expos sent Randy Bass (September 5, 1980) to the San Diego Padres to complete the trade.
