Before 1955 Season: Signed by the Baltimore Orioles as an amateur free agent.

November 16, 1961: Traded by the Baltimore Orioles with Art Kay (minors) and Harry Chiti to the Cleveland Indians for Johnny Temple.

May 10, 1965: Traded by the Cleveland Indians to the New York Yankees for Pedro Gonzalez.

July 4, 1967: Traded by the New York Yankees with players to be named later and cash to the Baltimore Orioles for players to be named later and Steve Barber. The New York Yankees sent Chet Trail (minors) (December 15, 1967) and Joe Brady (minors) (December 15, 1967) to the Baltimore Orioles to complete the trade.
