August 24, 1989: Traded by the Atlanta Braves to the Chicago Cubs for players to be named later. The Chicago Cubs sent Kelly Mann (September 1, 1989) and Pat Gomez (September 1, 1989) to the Atlanta Braves to complete the trade.
