Probably the greatest pitcher in the history of baseball. At age 44, struck out 27 (!) Kansas City Monarchs for a 1-0 victory. Beat Satchel Paige 1-0 the only time they faced each other. "A sure 30-game winner" had he played in the majors (Ty Cobb)
