June 14, 1959: Sent by the Boston Red Sox to the Washington Senators to complete an earlier deal made on June 11, 1959. The Boston Red Sox sent Billy Consolo and Murray Wall to the Washington Senators for Herb Plews and Dick Hyde. Dick Hyde and Murray Wall returned to original teams on June 14, 1959.

July 2, 1960: Purchased by the Baltimore Orioles from the Washington Senators.
