Zheng Xu has pitched for China in a couple major events.
In the 2006 World Baseball Classic, Xu allowed 6 runs (3 earned), 4 walks and 2 homers in just 3 1/3 IP. He was much better in the 2007 Arizona Fall League, tossing 3 shutout and hitless innings, walking one. He was with China for the 2008 Olympics, Xu allowed 13 hits and 8 runs in 6 innings, striking out 6 but walking 4 and plunking two batters. Six of the runs came in 2 innings against the Cuban national team; otherwise, his ERA was a much more respectable 4.50.
