Zach Crouch pitched 3 games in the major leagues after a four-year minor league career. He was done at age 22.

His first stop was in Greensboro in 1985, where he went 8-5 with an ERA of 3.78. Moving up to Winter Haven in 1986, he went 9-6 with a 2.72 ERA. In 1987, New Britain of the Eastern League was a bit more challenging, as he posted a record of 6-9 with an ERA of 3.90 at age 20. The next year he had a better ERA, 3.23, as he went 2-3. He was also in Triple A at Pawtucket where he went 2-8 with a 4.68 ERA.

The same season as he appeared in Double A and Triple A, he also played his three games with the Boston Red Sox, pitching 1 1/3 innings and giving up one earned run.

He attended Cordova High School.
