Yu-Ching Lin pitched for Taiwan in the 2009 World Port Tournament, going 0-1 with a 5.91 ERA despite 11 strikeouts in 10 2/3 IP. He was 6th in the event in strikeouts. He remained with them for the 2009 Asian Championship.
Lin throws a slider, split-finger changeup, knuckle curve and fastball.
