IF/OF Woody Fair had a long career in the minor leagues, spanning from 1934 to 1952, missing the 1944-1945 seasons. He played six games in the International League in 1943, the highest he would reach. Fair led the Evangeline League with 24 HR and 125 RBI in 1940 and 13 HR and 113 RBI in 1941. He also led the 1946 Carolina League with 51 2B, 161 RBI, and 161 R. Overall, Fair hit .305 with 275 HR and 1493 RBI in 7,255 at-bats in 1,892 minor league games.
