The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers are an affiliate of the Seattle Mariners in the Midwest League. They play their home games at Fox Cities Stadium in Appleton, Wisconsin.
The club was previously known as the Appleton Foxes. The name was changed to maket the team regionally and draw fans from places as far away as Oshkosh and Green Bay who might otherwise have viewed the club as "Appleton's team." It also reflected the fact that the team's new location outside of Appleton in Grand Chute.
