Wing-Sing Li (李永陞)

Wing-Sing Li has played for Hong Kong on the international stage. In the 2009 World Youth Championship, he played third base and pitched. He was 3 for 19 with a double, triple and two walks. On the mound, he had a 1-1, 4.91 record with 19 K in 22 IP. He tossed complete games against both the Czech Republic (a 6-5 win, Hong Kong's lone victory, throwing 146 pitches) and Russia (throwing 134 pitches in a 5-3 loss, just two days after his outing against the Czechs). Li was second in the event in innings (22, behind Japan's Hiroaki Yokotsuka) and third in strikeouts (19, after South Korea's Seung-jun Baek and Yokotsuka). In the 2010 Asian Games, the 17-year-old pitched in relief versus Taiwan.
