Windsor is located in southern Ontario, Canada, at the mouth of the St. Clair River into Lake St. Clair, and across the river from Detroit, MI.
In addition to players born there, at least two players born in Italy, Hank Biasatti and Reno Bertoia, lived there. Bertoia, although born in Italy, came to Windsor when he was 22 months old and grew up there. He also worked there for many years after his baseball days.
