Bill Morgan played two years in the Kitty League (1938-1939) and scouted for the Philadelphia Blue Jays / Philadelphia Phillies (1941-1958) and discovered and/or signed players such as Stan Palys, Ed Freed, Jesse Levan, Curt Simmons, Ron Mrozinski, Bob Lipski and Cal Emery.
