William Maughn

William Joseph Maughn

William Maughn scouted for the Boston Braves (1946-1950), New York Giants (1951-1952), St. Louis Cardinals (1954), Milwaukee Braves (1955-1960), and Los Angeles Angels (1961-1966) and was a manager for the Greenville Buckshots for part of 1953. He was the first major league scout to recommend signing Willie Mays.
