 Biographical Information
The Cincinnati Reds had a fine lefty-righty bullpen tandem in 1975 with Will McEnaney and Rawly Eastwick. McEnaney was never as effective again, though; after one more season with the Reds, he was traded to Montreal and began suffering from personal problems. He then went to Pittsburgh (spending most of 1978 in the minors) and finished his big-league career in St. Louis.
Will continued in the minors in 1980, spent 1981 with Tabasco in the Mexican League as a starting pitcher, and made comeback attempts in the U.S. minors in 1982 and 1985. In 1989, McEnaney played for the West Palm Beach Tropics of the Senior Professional Baseball Association.
