White Rock is about 10 miles southeast of Vancouver, BC and only a couple miles north of the US-Canada border. Alan Mauthe was born here. A team from White Rock played in the 2007 Little League World Series. Allan Simpson founded the magazine All-America Baseball News, the ancestor of Baseball America, from his garage in White Rock in 1980.
