The Western Australia team, known in recent years as the Heelers or Perth Heat, have won seven Claxton Shield titles. They have won the Shield competition in 1952, 1975, 1977-1979, 1985, 2008 and 2009. The Perth Heat also won the Australian Baseball League titles in 1990-1991, 1996-1997 and 2010-2011.
