West Palm Beach is located on Florida's southern Atlantic Coast, 40 miles north of Fort Lauderdale, FL. It was a long time spring training site, until the construction of a modern complex in Jupiter, FL, 15 miles to the north, in the late 1990s, which is also where the city's team now plays.
