Wayne Tolleson is a cousin of former big league pitching coach Rick Adair and his brother, Mike Tolleson, was a minor league outfielder in 1984. His son, Steven Tolleson, has been in the Minnesota Twins chain since 2005 and is currently (2008) with the New Britain Rock Cats. His father, Jim Tolleson, played in the minors in the 1950s.
