H. Wayne Huizenga
Wayne Huizenga was the first owner of the expansion Florida Marlins. He made his fortune in a wide variety of ventures, but is best known for Blockbuster Video. After failing to find government funding for a new baseball-only stadium to replace Pro Player Stadium in South Florida, Huizenga sold the team to commodities trader John Henry in 1999.
