The Buffalo Bisons moved into War Memorial Stadium (nicknamed "The Rockpile") in 1961 and left after the 1987 season. The movie The Natural was filmed here in 1983, and the Buffalo Bills of the NFL played here for many seasons.

Not to be confused with World War Memorial Stadium in Greensboro, NC
