Outfielder Walt Chipple played 18 games for the 1945 Washington Senators. He was one of several players tried in center field, where the most-used player was George Binks.
He was with Montreal in 1943-1944 and Williamsport in 1948-1949. He was with Granby in 1952. His minor league career stretched from 1939 to 1952.
