Infielder Wally Goldsmith played for four different teams in the period 1871-75.
In 1869 Wally played with the amateur Marylands, along with some other players who would come with him to the 1871 Kekiongas.
A ball used in a game in amateur days (pre-1871) was in Wally's family for decades until it was eventually donated to the Babe Ruth Museum. Source: Baseball in Baltimore: The First Hundred Years.
After 1875 he played in an amateur club in Quincy.
