Wally Kimmick was an infielder for 19 years from 1916 to 1934. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I (BN). He played in all or parts of six seasons with the St. Louis Cardinals, Cincinnati Reds and Philadelphia Phillies and another 16 years in the minor leagues. He was a retired employee of Westinghouse Electric Corporation. He died at his home at age 92 and is buried at Wiliam Penn Memorial Cemetery in Pittsburgh PA.
Kimmick had his best success in the majors in 1925 with the Philadelphia Phillies when he hit .305 in 141 at-bats. He split his time between shortstop, third base, and second base.
