Pitcher Wade LeBlanc was selected by the San Diego Padres in the second round of the 2006 amateur draft and made his pro debut that summer with the Eugene Emeralds. He made his major league debut on September 3, 2008, being saddled with the loss after giving up 5 runs on 8 hits in 4 innings against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
