Vincent Parisi has played in the Olympics and in Italy.
Parisi played college baseball in the USA. As he had an Italian passport, he was a tempting option for Italian clubs. In 2002, he signed with Parma and hit .314/.395/.457 in a part-time role. A starter for T&A San Marino in 2003, he batted .305/.377/.404 and threw out 18 of 31 attempted base thieves.
Parisi played for the Italian national team in the 2003 Baseball World Cup, hitting .176/.250/.353 as Italy's primary backstop. He hit .304/.467/.391 in the 2003 European Championship to finish 8th in the event in OBP.
He batted .250/.336/.347 for Rimini in 2004 yet still made Italy's team for the 2004 Olympics; he had thrown out 42% of attempted base-stealers. In the Olympics, Vincent was 1 for 8, backing up Luca Bischeri at catcher. His lone hit was a double off Rob Cordemans of the Dutch national team in a loss to Italy's traditional rival.
During 2005, Vince batted .282/.368/.349 with San Marino, continuing his bouncing back and forth between that ckub and Rimini. In '06, he remained with San Marino and hit .238/.322/.320. That year, he gunned down 16 of 31 runners who tried to steal against him.
Parisi moved to Nettuno in 2007 and hit .274/.372/.316. He hit .235/.316/.294 for Italy in the 2007 European Championship. The next year, he batted .311/.419/.418 for Nettuno with a team-best 33 RBI. He tied Max De Biase and Mario Chiarini for third in the league in RBI.
Parisi hit .313/.313/.563 for Nettuno in the 2008 European Cup in Regensburg, then was 2 for 5 in the 2008 European Cup Final Four, which Nettuno won.
