[edit] Biographical Information

Outfielder Vince Moore was selected by the Atlanta Braves in the fifth round of the 1991 amateur draft. In 1993, he was traded to the San Diego Padres along with Donnie Elliott and Melvin Nieves in return for Fred McGriff, but he never made it to the big leagues. Moore later went on to play in various independent leagues.

Moore managed the Edinburg Roadrunners of the Central Baseball League in 2005 and the Edinburg Coyotes of the United League from 2006 to 2008. The team then changed their name back to the Edinburg Roadrunners when Moore managed them in 2009 and 2010. Moore led the Roadrunners to the title series in 2010. Moore then managed the Shreveport-Bossier Captains of the American Association for his first year with the club.
