Vic Delmore began his career in blue in the 1948 KITTY League. He moved up to the Southern Association from 1949 to 1955, then the National League from 1956 to 1959. Delmore had previously pitched in the minor leagues from 1935-1942, averaging 15 wins and under 10 losses in his final three seasons, all with Green Bay.
