Venados de Mazatlán
From BR Bullpen
The Venados de Mazatlán (or Mazatlan Deer or Reindeer in English) have been a mainstay of Mexican winter baseball for decades. They won five titles in the winter Pacific Coast League in the 1940s and 1950s and have won eight pennants in the Mexican Pacific League - in 1974, 1977, 1987, 1993, 1998, 2005, 2006 and 2009. They won their first Caribbean Series in 2005 behind the strong arm of Francisco Campos. Their home stadium is Estadio Teodoro Mariscal and play in Mazatlán, Sinaloa.
