Vegueros (Serie Nacional)

The Vegueros were a longtime member of the Cuban Serie Nacional. They won titles in 1977-1978, 1980-1981, 1981-1982, 1984-1985, 1986-1987 and 1987-1988. Rogelio García, Luis Casanova and Omar Linares all won MVP awards while with the Vegueros. In 1992-1993, they merged with the Forestales to form the Pinar del Río club.
