The dates they use for the US wars:
- Spanish American War 4/21/1898 to 7/4/02
- WW1 4/6/17 to 11/11/18
- WW2 12/7/41 to 12/31/46
- Korean Conflict 6/27/50 to 1/31/55
- Viet Nam Era 8/5/64 to 5/7/75 except that anyone who served in the
- Republic of Viet Nam from 2/28/61 to 8/5/64 is also included.

- To create the accents, you hold down the <Alt> key (there's one on either side of the space bar) and type in the three-digit code for the accent on the keyboard (please note that the number keys at the top of the keyboard will not work for this). Try this, and if you can't get it to work, at least you have all the accents in one place to copy from. :-)

What is your source for his first name being Alain ? I've got a number of places giving his full name as Patrick, sometimes abreviated to Pat. Thanks. --Philippe 18:27, 2 April 2009 (EDT)
Thanks for that. My guess is that his given name is Alain Patrick, but that he goes by his second name (a very common thing in Quebec, I might add). Which is why the SABR database would only list the first of his names. I'll list him like that until we find proof otherwise. --Philippe 18:37, 2 April 2009 (EDT)
