[edit] Top 20 Page

User 69.68.238.142 It appears that you have an interest in this page. Good, I enjoy it also. In fact I started it from scratch and have updated it whenever it is required. Would you like to have the responsibility of updating it and making the necessary changes when necessary? I will be glad to turn this over to you. You understand the updating for each category is done manually and not automatically and must be checked each day. Let me know--Dugout 19:30, 1 August 2008 (EDT)

You're misreading the website. It notes that Neptunus has those numbers, which is confirmed by the Neptunus website - http://www.neptunussport.com/index.php?pageid=304

It was also the subject of an article on Marco Stoovelaar's site, no longer available. Marco does have the 2007 roster for Sparta, though, which lists shows that numbers 16 and 22 are both in use for the club this year and are clearly not retired by Sparta/Feyenoord. Marco also has those three retired numbers all listed under Neptunus.

Finally, honkbalsite.com lists Neptunus as having those three numbers retired - see http://www.honkbalsite.com/nieuws/retired_neptunus1304.html

Hope that clarifies things.

Thanks a lot. Sorry about that. I got lost in the translation. 69.68.238.142 11:42, 8 May 2007 (EDT)

I have no opinion on wikipedia notability. Deska is notable by BR Bullpen standards, FWIW. - --Mischa 15:08, 1 November 2007 (EDT)

User 69.68.238.142 please do not move spacing on the 20 Top HR page columns. It is a tight page and spacing is important. Thanks. --Dugout 17:19, 27 May 2008 (EDT)

Even though Hawaii was not a state prior to 1959, it was already a part of the USA as a US territory. The attack on Pearl Harbor was considered an attack on US territory after all. So the USA should stand. For any player born when it was still the Kingdom of Hawaii (I think there is one), you can modify appropriately. --Philippe 12:49, 24 July 2008 (EDT)

Puerto Rico has a sui generis status. Anyone born in those staes (CA, HI, AK etc) after annexion to the US but prior to statehood would be US citizens by birth (not that citizenship law was entirely defined in the mi 19th century). But I'll grant you the Kingdom and Republic of Hawaii, or anyone born in Texas before President Polk came along. --Philippe 12:57, 24 July 2008 (EDT)

Ramsey's CPBL stats are here - from google translate, it looks like he allowed 2 runs in 3 innings and 7 hits (ouch), losing a decision in his only game. - --Mischa 15:27, 25 July 2008 (EDT)

CPBL teams have a LOT of turnover of foreign players, even when they do well (see Ivanon Coffie) so it would be no surprise if they canned Ramsey after one game. I think there are minor leagues in Taiwan that he might have been shipped down to but most of these guys go straight back to the US, I think. Very few foreign players linger in Taiwan - see Luis Iglesias and Len Picota as some exceptions. - --Mischa 15:38, 25 July 2008 (EDT)

[edit] Takao Kajimoto edit

On many of our pages for Asian players, we have their name in Chinese, Korean or Japanese as well. You don't need to remove those inclusions. - --Mischa 13:04, 7 October 2008 (EDT)

[edit] Coach category

The college coach category is only for head coaches, not assistants. - --Mischa 16:11, 14 April 2009 (EDT)
