Puerto Rican pitchers Saul Rivera and J.C. Romero were the two major leaguers out of Mobile. Fellow Puerto Rican Joey Espada went here, was an assistant coach in 2004-2005 and became a MLB coach. Kyle McPherson went here as well. Jorge Hernandez was hitting coach in 1993.
