Known as University of Detroit from 1877 until merging with Mercy College of Detroit in 1990, the school sponsored baseball from at least 1941 to 2004. The team played in the Missouri Valley Conference from 1949 to 1957, was a District IV Independents from 1958 to 1974, a Division-I Independent from 1975 to 1980 and a member of the Midwestern Collegiate Conference/Horizon League in 1981-2004.
